French club Monaco announced the signing of Matthis Ablin from Nantes until summer 2031.

The 23-year-old signed his transfer contracts to Monaco after passing through the teams of Rennes, Le Havre and Auxerre.
The young striker became the ninth player to join Monaco from Nantes, in a deal that cost 30 million euros.
The winger and striker joined Nantes on loan in the 2023-24 season then joined permanently the following summer.
Matthis Ablin scored 24 goals and provided 10 assists in 94 matches with the Canaries in all competitions.
His goals last season were not enough to avoid relegation to the French second division.
He also participated in the 2025 European Under-20 Championship where he contributed to the French youth reaching the semi-finals.
Ablin became Monaco's fourth signing after the permanent signing of Ansu Fati from Barcelona and the transfers of Nazinho from Belgian Cercle Brugge and Sadio Sane from French Metz.

In return, Jasom Kamara left the team for Besiktas, Caio Henrique for Ajax and Aladji Bamba for Newcastle.
The team led by Brazilian Felipe Luis is preparing to participate in the preliminary round of the Europa Conference League.
The team starts its season with a match against Le Havre in the first round of the French league on August 23 next.
