Press reports have revealed Paris Saint-Germain club's stance on submitting an official offer for Ferran Torres, the first-team footballer at Barcelona club, to conclude a deal with him during the current summer transfer window.

Ferran Torres has not yet reached an agreement with the Barcelona administration regarding the renewal of his contract, which expires on 30 June 2027.

Previous press reports had confirmed Paris Saint-Germain club's desire to sign the Spanish striker during the current summer transfer window to bolster the squad.

Ferran Torres criticised the Barcelona club administration for not showing any desire to renew his contract so far, after which, according to most reports in the Spanish press, the Spain international striker decided he wanted to go to Paris Saint-Germain.

Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" said that although it was believed Ferran Torres had settled everything with Paris Saint-Germain, the French club has not submitted any official offer to sign him.

It pointed out that Barcelona club has not received any offers yet to sign the Spain international striker, so he is scheduled to return to the Catalan club's training on 12 August with the rest of the players who participated in the World Cup.

It reported that Paris Saint-Germain could submit an offer worth 50 million euros to Barcelona to sign Torres.

It confirmed, citing French newspaper "Le Parisien", that Paris Saint-Germain wants to conclude the Ferran Torres deal quickly and not repeat the mistake with Yan Diomande, as after an almost complete agreement between the French club and the Ivorian player, Real Madrid snatched the deal in the end.

It concluded that Barcelona club does not intend for the player to leave the team, but if he decides to do so, the club will not stand in his way; the Catalan club is now awaiting a serious offer from Paris Saint-Germain to conclude the deal.
