Real Madrid continues its activity in the summer transfer market, after finalizing its deal with Carlos Ispie coming from Levante, to compensate for the expected departure of Gonzalo Garcia to Fulham.
However, signing Ispie does not resolve the team's squad crisis, as Real Madrid faces a dilemma regarding the number of registered players, with its squad complete at 25 players, the maximum allowed in the Spanish league.
According to the Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, the Royal Club will be required to offload at least one first-team player if it wants to register one of the expected deals, foremost among them Jan Diamondi or Rodrigo Hernandez.
The report added that if Real Madrid succeeds in signing both players, it will have to create two spots in the squad through the departure of two first-team players.
The report pointed out that Franco Mastantuono can no longer be registered with the reserve team squad, after participating in a sufficient number of matches with the first team during the past season, which limits the club's options in managing its squad.
Real Madrid is awaiting the completion of Gonzalo's transfer to Fulham, as the player's name remains listed on the club's official squad despite the deal nearing completion.
