Jose Mourinho, Real Madrid's coach, praised his team's performance in the friendly match against Fiorentina, affirming his satisfaction with the players' performance despite fatigue, and revealed when several stars would join the preparation period.
Real Madrid drew 2-2 with Fiorentina in a friendly in the team's second match in preparation for the start of the new season.
Jose Mourinho said to Real Madrid channel: "I saw three different faces of Real Madrid: a refreshed team, then a tired team, and finally a completely exhausted team".
He continued: "What impressed me the most is the third face of the team, when the players were at the peak of fatigue, yet the team remained cohesive and regained control of the game's proceedings".
He added: "I involved Carlos Ispie, who is still living his dream, trained with us for only one hour yesterday, but he helped us today, and at the same time began to understand the meaning of playing for Real Madrid".
He concluded: "On Monday, Vinicius Junior, Brahim Diaz, and Bernardo Silva will join, while Dumfries and Endrick will have had additional training days, and we will continue working until the team's ranks are complete".
