Jose Mourinho, Real Madrid coach, revealed that work inside the club began a long time ago in coordination with the administration, stressing that his goal is to establish a culture of responsibility and ambition within the team.
Real Madrid appointed Jose Mourinho as technical director of the team, succeeding Alvaro Arbeloa, the former coach of the royal team.
Mourinho said via the official Real Madrid website: "Words alone are not enough, we are now on a mission".
He continued, "We have been working for a long time with the club's structure and at various levels".
He added, "Technology helps us a lot, so we can now work even without being present permanently".
He revealed, "What I did today was to review everything that has been accomplished, and identify what remains of the work during the coming period, and I am here to help everyone become better".
He continued, "My goal is to build a culture based on work, taking responsibility, and ambition, alongside a value I know well, which is the honor of working for Real Madrid".
He concluded, "I like this idea very much, as it is not about working at Real Madrid, but working for the team".
Mourinho returned to coach Real Madrid after his first stint which was from July 2010 until June 2013.
