Mustafa Shobeir, Al-Ahly's goalkeeper, emphasized that the chance of his departure from the club has become very difficult following the renewal of his contract.
Al-Ahly announced the renewal of Mustafa Shobeir's contract with the club until 2029.
Shobeir stated in remarks to Al-Ahly's official website: "No player can impose their will on Al-Ahly, and the negotiations were easy and comfortable because, ultimately, I was going to renew my contract."
He added, "I respect Al-Ahly's perspective, and in the end, I renewed my contract under the club's terms without any penalty clause or other conditions."
He continued, "The possibility of my leaving Al-Ahly is very slim, and the team's entire focus is on returning to the podiums to make up for what happened last season."
Concluding his remarks, he said, "The negotiations to renew my contract did not take as much time as some might think, because we met for the first time before the training camp, and again after returning, and ultimately the renewal was completed at the appropriate time."
