The Moroccan Parlement Sport website revealed that Al Ahly management rejected an offer from the Moroccan Royal Army worth 400 thousand dollars to contract with Reda Selim on a permanent basis.
The report indicated that Al Ahly's rejection came due to the weakness of the financial consideration submitted by the Moroccan club's management.
The report explained that this comes amid having a larger financial offer from one of the Libyan clubs.
The report revealed that Reda Selim strongly desires to return to the ranks of the Royal Army and is trying to convince Al Ahly management to show greater flexibility in upcoming negotiations.
Reda Selim played 38 matches with the Royal Army last season in various competitions.
Selim contributed to 11 goals, scoring 6 and assisting 5 others.
The Royal Army achieved runner-up in the African Champions League after losing to Sundowns.
