Mohamed Shehata, a player for Zamalek's first football team, scored the first goal for his side against AS Port, the champions of Djibouti, in the match held this Friday evening as part of the 2026–2027 CAF Champions League season.
Zamalek currently leads their counterpart AS Port, champions of Djibouti, by one goal without reply in the match being played at Cairo International Stadium during the first leg of the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League tournament.
Zamalek's first goal came in the 6th minute of the match following an attack initiated by Chico Banza from midfield; he penetrated the penalty area and delivered a cross, from which Mohamed Shehata scored the goal.

The match between Zamalek and AS Port is officiated by a refereeing crew from Burkina Faso, led by Hamidou Diarro as the main referee, assisted by his compatriots Lamine Douvinet Adolfe as the first assistant referee and Daouda Traore as the second assistant referee, while Jean Ouattara serves as the fourth official.
