Mohamed Salah, captain of the Egyptian national team, sent a message to Ahmed Hegazi, the former Neom and Pharaohs player, after his retirement from football.
Ahmed Hegazi announced his final retirement from football after a rich career in the Egyptian, Italian, English and Saudi leagues.

Salah posted photos with Ahmed Hegazi on X and wrote: "A long journey we lived together since our childhood; we enjoyed and had fun in every stage of it. Good luck in what comes next".
It is worth noting that Ahmed Hegazi played for many clubs, most notably Al Ahly, Ismaily, Italian Fiorentina, English West Bromwich Albion, Saudi Al-Ittihad and Neom.
