Mohamed Ibrahim joined Zed at the beginning of the current season after his contract with Al-Bank Al-Ahli ended.

Speaking to Al-Nahar channel, Zed player Mohamed Ibrahim said: "I was lucky to have Hossam Hassan as Zamalek's technical director. He gave me, Omar Gaber, and many other players a real opportunity when I was only 17 years old. I consider it the most important period in my life."

He added, "I was surprised to find a clause in my transfer contract to Zamalek stipulating that Portuguese club Marítimo would receive one million euro if I transferred to any team. I had one season remaining, and it would have been better for me to stay until the end of my contract, especially since its value wasn't high, but the club decided to transfer me to Misr Lel-Makkasa."

He emphasized, "I constantly feel that I could have offered more to Zamalek. There were no negotiations regarding a return, but personally, ending my career at Zamalek is a dream for me."

Ibrahim began his career with Zamalek's youth teams and was promoted to the first team in 2011.

Mohamed Ibrahim experienced a professional stint with Portuguese club Marítimo before quickly returning to Zamalek.

He also played for Misr Lel-Makkasa, Ceramica Cleopatra, and Al-Bank Al-Ahli before moving to Zed at the start of this season.
