Atef is playing for Al-Talaa' Al-Heed on loan from Al Ahly for the second consecutive season.
Mohamed Atef said via On Sport: "I had been hoping to return from the loan to Al Ahly. Wearing the Al Ahly shirt and getting a chance to play for them is a great honor and an opportunity any player would wish for."
He added, "But the loan was for two seasons, and there were some details I did not agree with, but God willing, the future will be better."
According to FilGoal.com , the player had previously signed a two-season loan contract, with each season under a separate contract.
According to the regulations of the Egyptian Football Association, a player is not allowed to be loaned to another team for more than one season.
Last summer, Mohamed Atef moved to Al-Talaa' Al-Heed on loan from Al Ahly for two seasons, but subject to Al Ahly's approval after the end of the first season.
Regarding the win over El Mansoura, he clarified, "The second win in a row? This is due to the effort of the entire team and the technical staff. We started the preparation period early and were focused on getting the three points, especially given the numerical disadvantage."
He concluded his statements, "We achieved an important win for the second consecutive match, and we treat each match individually. The atmosphere within the team is very good, and we are working hard to achieve our goals during the current season."
Atef scored a wonderful goal in Al-Talaa' Al-Heed's 3-2 win over El Mansoura, which was his team's second win out of two rounds, bringing their points total to 6.
