French press reports have revealed new developments regarding the Egyptian international defender Mohamed Abdelmonem and his fate during the current summer transfer window.

The "Africa Foot" website had previously reported that the former Al-Ahly defender rejected a tempting salary estimated at 5 million euros from the Gulf, as he wants to prove his abilities at his current club.
