Former Zamalek and Egypt national team player Ahmed Hossam Mido stated that there is a team strongly favored to win the Egyptian Premier League title this season.
Pyramids FC tops the Egyptian Premier League standings with 9 points from three consecutive victories, followed by Zamalek with 7 points, while Al-Ahly ranks fourth with 6 points from two matches.

Mido told the program "Odet El Lebs" on Al-Nahar Channel: "I do not rule it out at all; in fact, I tip Pyramids FC to win the league championship this season."
He added: "Pyramids FC has gained significant experience competing for the league title, and I recommend them because technically they are the best team in terms of players and collective performance."
He concluded: "Pyramids FC has become somewhat seasoned in the language of competition; the race will be extremely fierce among the trio of Al-Ahly, Pyramids FC, and Zamalek, each under different circumstances."
