Kylian Mbappe, the star of the French national team, confirmed that the Roosters' squad managed to outperform Paraguay despite their provocative tactics, noting that he will give his all alongside his teammates during the match against Morocco to advance to the semi-finals of the 2026 World Cup.
Kylian Mbappe said in statements to beIN Sports: "Today we are fine, we played in a way that showed we represented French football appropriately. If we have to do anything, we will do it for France."
He continued: "It was a battle and we expected this, the most important thing is that we won and were better than the opponent. This is their style of play and provocation, every team has its weapons, and everyone seeks to win in their own way, and we have to recover to face Morocco."
Regarding the match against Morocco, which includes his teammate Achraf Hakimi, he commented: "Hakimi called me, we know that Morocco is a very strong team, and we are happy to play against them, and we will give our best to qualify."
