Saudi club Al-Ahli has set a date with South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns in the match to determine the champion of the three continents, as part of the Intercontinental Cup competition.
Al-Ahli Saudi defeated their guest, New Zealand's Auckland City, by one goal without reply, scored by their player Saleh Abu Al-Shamat in the 63rd minute of the match.
Al-Ahli Jeddah will meet Sundowns on September 19 next, at the home ground of the South African team in Pretoria.
Al-Ahli is participating in the Intercontinental Cup for the second consecutive edition, after winning the AFC Champions League title last season.
Meanwhile, Sundowns are appearing in the global tournament for the first time, following Al-Ahli and Pyramids' participation in the past two editions, after the South African team won the CAF Champions League title.
