Egyptian player Omar Marmoush sent a message to Tottenham Hotspur fans following his debut appearance in the Spurs' jersey after joining the club in the current summer transfer window.
Omar Marmoush moved from Manchester City to Tottenham on loan, making his first appearance with the team in yesterday's match against Newcastle United.
Marmoush started the match and played the full game, but the encounter ended in a 2-0 defeat for Tottenham against Newcastle.
Marmoush wrote on his official Instagram account: "Happy to make my first appearance in front of all of you. The result wasn't what we hoped for, but there are positive aspects we can learn from, and much to build upon. Thank you for the warm welcome and support."
Tottenham has not won any of their two Premier League matches so far in the 2026/2027 season, and the team will play their next match against Nottingham (click here to view the schedule).
