Egyptian star Omar Marmoush has completed his loan move to Tottenham Hotspur from Manchester City following his participation with the Egyptian national team in the 2026 World Cup.
Omar Marmoush said in his first interview with Tottenham's official website about his transfer to the club: "It's a great feeling."
He added: "I am extremely happy to be here and very excited to start with the team. I look forward to meeting all the fans and playing together on the pitch."
He continued: "My family's reaction was wonderful. My wife is extremely happy that we are here in London and that I have joined this club. She becomes happy seeing me happy, and I am very happy to be here."

He went on: "It has been an amazing summer. My wedding day was certainly the most beautiful day of my life, and now with my arrival here, I can say it was a wonderful summer concluded in the best possible way. I am eagerly looking forward to starting this experience."
Marmoush continued regarding his transfer to Tottenham: "Tottenham is one of the biggest clubs in England and indeed in the entire world. The project was extremely attractive. I spoke extensively with the manager, and the whole project convinced me. I am very excited to get started."
When asked about Roberto De Zerbi, Marmoush said: "I am confident that he is a top-tier manager, but he is certainly one of the best coaches in the world. I believe our shared passion for the game will create a wonderful combination, and I am extremely excited to work with him."
Concluding his remarks about his attributes and what he will bring to Tottenham, Marmoush stated: "I can say that I will add speed and goal-scoring ability, along with great passion and love for the team and the game. These are the four characteristics I possess. I can't wait to stand before the fans and play."
