Swiss Zurich officially announced its contract earlier with coach Marcel Koller to lead the team starting from this season until the end of the 2026-2027 season.
Marcel Koller, Zurich coach, suffered a heavy loss with his team by a clean 5-0 defeat against Lugano in the third round of the Swiss League.
Koller led Zurich in three official matches so far, losing in the opening round of the Swiss League against St. Gallen 2-1, before winning against Servette with a clean goal in the second match.

And away from home, Zurich received its largest official defeat under the leadership of Marcel Koller with a clean five, and the team of the former Al-Ahly coach is scheduled to resume its preparations to face Tuggen in the round of 64 of the Swiss Cup next Friday.
With this heavy defeat, Zurich occupies the eighth place in the Swiss League standings with 3 points, while Lugano tops the standings with 9 points.
