The famous journalist Fabrizio Romano mentioned that Manchester United decided to give Marcus Rashford a new shirt number with the team, as a message of confidence and confirmation of his position in the main squad for the next season.
He explained that Rashford will wear the number 14 shirt and will travel with the team to play two matches against Leeds United and Milan friendly, in Ireland and Poland, respectively.
He stated that Marcus Rashford can stay with Manchester United if no major European club submits an official offer to sign him in the remainder of the current summer transfer season.
