The English site "Team Talk" indicated that Manchester United is planning to contract with the French international Manu Koné, the Roma team midfielder.

The report continued that the Italian club needs to sell some players to comply with the financial regulations of the European Football Association, as Koné is viewed internally as its most expensive sellable assets.

The report stressed that the French player may be available for sale for about 50 million pounds sterling.

The report stated that the intermediaries have already contacted Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, and Liverpool, as part of their ongoing efforts to explore potential destinations.

The French midfielder participated in 37 matches with Roma in all competitions last season, scoring two goals and three decisive passes.

The French star joined the Giallorossi coming from Borussia Mönchengladbach in 2024, in a deal that did not exceed 20 million pounds sterling.
