Mamdouh Abbas, the honorary president of Zamalek Club, affirmed his support for Moataz Jamal’s continuation in the position of technical director of the first football team, praising what he had achieved with the team during the past period.
Mamdouh Abbas said, in exclusive statements to the Zamalek channel through the “Zamalkawi” program, that he congratulates Moataz Jamal on his continuation as technical director of Zamalek, confirming that he deserves this trust after he worked hard and led the team to win the league title, despite the difficult circumstances that surrounded the club.
He added that he is confident in Moataz Jamal’s ability to lead Zamalek to continue competing for titles during the new season, wishing him success in the team’s first matches in the league competition next August.
The honorary president of Zamalek Club denied the accuracy of reports that he had called for the appointment of Mahmoud Abdel Razek “Shikabala” as sports director of the club, confirming that these reports are untrue.
Mamdouh Abbas concluded his statements by noting that he had previously told Shikabala that he had about four years ahead of him, after which he could assume the position of first-team director in the future, as part of preparations for a new phase after the end of his playing career on the pitch.
