Liverpool finalizes signing of Mohamed Salah's successor

Liverpool has finalized the signing of a replacement for Egyptian international star Mohamed Salah, the Reds' legend who moved to Turkish club Trabzonspor during the ongoing summer transfer window, for the 2026/2027 season.

Mohamed Salah officially left Liverpool on June 30 of last month, after spending a historic nine years with the English club.

Liverpool has been linked with several players to succeed Mohamed Salah in the squad, including Bradley Barcola of Paris Saint-Germain, who refused to renew his contract with the European champions.

The Athletic, via trusted journalist David Ornstein, reported that Liverpool has finalized the signing of Frenchman Bradley Barcola.

It was reported that Liverpool has agreed on all terms with Paris Saint-Germain, with the transfer fee set at 125 million euros, plus 25 million in add-ons and incentives.

It was mentioned that the player is scheduled to undergo a medical examination tomorrow, Sunday, to complete his transfer to Liverpool.

It was concluded that Barcola's contract with Liverpool will be for five years, expiring in 2031.

Barcola is considered one of Europe's standout wingers, known for his speed and exceptional finishing quality. Therefore, he was chosen as the ideal successor to Mohamed Salah, despite not playing in the same position.
