The meeting of the Zamalek SC board of directors, which was scheduled to take place this evening to discuss several files related to the football team, has been postponed.
Yalla Kora learned that the Zamalek board meeting was cancelled due to some members being occupied with holding important meetings to discuss numerous club-related matters.
The Zamalek board meeting has been postponed several times; it was originally supposed to be held last Saturday but was moved to Sunday, only to be postponed again.
The Zamalek board was expected to approve the transfer of Brazilian Juan Bezzera, a former player for the team, to UAE's Shabab Al Ahli Dubai.
Bezzera had already moved to Shabab Al Ahli two weeks ago after Zamalek approved the offer.
The Brazilian winger returned to Cairo before issuing a statement in which he apologized to Zamalek fans and asked the White Castle's management to allow him to leave the club, having achieved his goal of leading the team to win the league title.
The Brazilian winger played 47 matches for the White Castle during the past season, totaling 3,483 minutes, scoring 8 goals, and providing 12 assists.
Bezzera led the White Knight to win the Egyptian Premier League championship, as well as reaching the final of the CAF Confederation Cup.
