Fahmi Belhadj, lawyer for the Moroccan player Salah Eddine Mssoudi, announced the conclusion of his client's case with Zamalek Club after securing his dues.

The 28-year-old was entitled to $404,000 as the second and final installment from Zamalek Club. The Moroccan defender obtained a final ruling from FIFA imposing a registration ban alongside a financial penalty due to non-payment of his dues, which led to his departure.

The Moroccan defender transferred to Moroccan club Wydad Casablanca last January, having spent only one year with Zamalek since joining from Moroccan team Nahdat Zemamra in January 2025.

Developments in Salah Mssoudi's case

Fahmi Belhadj revealed in statements to "Yalla Kora" on Friday that Zamalek Club sent the remaining amount of the fine late Thursday evening.

Salah Eddine Mssoudi's lawyer added that the player decided to waive the delay interest on the fine, agreeing to receive the amount of $404,000.

Thus, the player has received his dues from Zamalek Club, bringing an end to this crisis which had prevented "The White Fortress" from conducting new transfers during the current summer window.

According to the "Transfermarkt" website, Salah Mssoudi participated in 16 matches wearing the Zamalek jersey, but he neither scored nor assisted any goals.

Zamalek is scheduled to begin its title defense in the Egyptian Premier League by facing Al Ittihad Alexandria tonight, Friday, at Cairo International Stadium.
