The Football Association revealed the launch of the elite referees' preparation camp for the 2026-2027 sports season, held at the National Teams Center in the city of Sixth of October.
The Federation said in a statement on its official Facebook page: "The main referees' committee, headed by Essam Abdel Fattah, held a meeting with the referees before the start of the camp's activities, during which the work plan for the coming period was explained, and the importance of commitment and continuous development was emphasized, in preparation for the new season".
He continued: "For his part, Abdel Fattah stressed the importance of developing the refereeing system and raising the level of referees during the coming period, pointing to his in all referees, and confirming that the referees' committee includes elements with great efficiency and experience in the field of refereeing".
He concluded: "The camp witnessed the delivery of a number of technical lectures for the referees, with the participation of Jamal Al-Ghandour and Samir Othman, the vice presidents of the committee, and Wajih Ahmed and Mahmoud Ashour, members of the committee, to clarify the latest developments in the laws of the game, and to raise the readiness of the referees for the new season".
