Real Madrid is still working on finalizing the deal for the Ivorian Yan Diomande, Leipzig's winger, as negotiations between the two clubs continue without reaching a final agreement so far.
According to German journalist Florian Plettenberg, correspondent for the "Sky Sport - Germany" network, "there is still no final agreement between Real Madrid and Leipzig regarding Yan Diomande, after new negotiations today".

Plettenberg continued: "This has been confirmed by all parties involved. And unless something extraordinary happens before midnight, negotiations will continue tomorrow morning".
He added: "The deal is still on. Diomande was also in Leipzig today, where he underwent managed physical training to avoid endangering the deal. Real Madrid is pushing to complete the deal this week".
Diomande is 19 years old, plays in the winger position, and joined Leipzig in the summer of 2025 coming from Spanish Leganes, and had a remarkable season in the German league.
Paris Saint-Germain is also competing for the deal, and there are reports of interest from both Liverpool and Manchester City in the Ivory Coast star.
