Al Ahly Club has settled on playing a friendly match tomorrow, Friday, after completing its match against Smouha, scheduled for today, Thursday, in the third round of the Egyptian Premier League.
A source confirmed in a statement to Yalla Kora that Al Ahly Club will play its friendly match tomorrow against Team FC to work on preparing all elements of the team.
The source added that there is a tendency among Hossam Amouta, the team's head coach, to continue playing friendly matches between the official matches the team will play throughout the season.
The source concluded his statement: "The goal of Amouta's approach is to maintain the readiness of all players who have not participated in the official matches."
Al Ahly Club enters a strong match against Smouha, as the Red Giant seeks to win its third consecutive match of the new season in the league.
The Red Giant had started its campaign with a win over Sharqia Enppi, 3-2, before achieving a second victory against Zed in the second round.
