Liverpool left-back Milos Kerkez believes the time has come for a new generation to emerge at the Reds after the departure of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah from their ranks.
Kerkez enjoyed a close relationship with Mohamed Salah, and maintained contact with the Egyptian star after his departure at the end of last season.
Kerkez explained in statements reported by the British "Liverpool Echo" the extent of Mohamed Salah's great influence during his time in Merseyside: "As for Mo, I saw on the TV screen before we left the training center the statistics of his goals and assists, they were 300, I felt astonished and something made me say what is this?".

He added: "However, time passes quickly and a new generation comes with new players, and we hope things go well, we talk a lot with Salah, but I don't know which club he will move to, our conversations are limited only to vacations".
It is worth noting that Mohamed Salah scored 257 goals and made 137 decisive passes during 442 matches with Liverpool, and won 9 titles, most notably the English Premier League twice and the UEFA Champions League once.
