Italian Federico Chiesa, winger for English club Liverpool, admitted that the Reds were lucky to qualify for the Champions League.
The Reds qualified for the Champions League next season after finishing fifth in the Premier League table last season.

Chiesa said in statements reported by the British newspaper "Daily Mail": "I am happy now here in Liverpool, I love the club, and I love the fans, and I love everything, I do my best to get an opportunity here".
He continued: "At the moment, all I think about is Liverpool, the start of the year is always new, maybe there have been many new beginnings".
He stressed: "I try to do my best with this new coach, last season under Arne Slot, I was trying to do my best".
He added: "Last year I felt I was ready for a bigger role, and it depended on the coach whether he wanted me to play or not".
He went on: "Of course I wanted to play more, but that's what happened, the coach decided, he had his plans, and made his decisions, and I have no say in that".
He continued: "This year, let's say it's a new chapter, there's a new manager, and I have to focus on that".
He added: "Liverpool deserve more than that, two years ago we won the Premier League title, and last year we almost missed out on qualifying for the Champions League".
He concluded: "We were competing for fifth place, which was enough at the time, but as we know, usually only four teams qualify, we were lucky, last season was tough, and this season we need to perform better, in the Champions League as well".
