Al-Ahly Club announced the appointment of Khaled Morsi as Acting Executive Director of Al-Ahly Club.
Al-Ahly decided to accept Saad Shalabi's resignation from his position as Executive Director of Al-Ahly Club.
Prior to this decision, Morsi served as the manager of Al-Ahly Club's Gezira branch. The club's Board of Directors appointed him as Executive Director during today's meeting.
Al-Ahly also announced its collaboration with Saad Shalabi as an Investment and Commercial Consultant for the club's affiliated companies, based on proposals submitted by these companies. However, the duration of any contract resulting from these proposals shall under no circumstances exceed the term of the current Board of Directors, which ends in 2029.
Furthermore, Al-Ahly expressed its gratitude to Saad Shalabi for his efforts in serving the club and safeguarding its interests.
Al-Ahly noted that Shalabi had submitted his resignation on multiple occasions due to health reasons.
Additionally, Al-Ahly clarified that regarding Shalabi's execution of his consultancy duties, his administrative, technical, and financial accountability lies solely with the respective boards of directors of the contracted companies, each concerning its own company. He holds no such accountability towards the club's Board of Directors, its President, or its Executive Management.
