Karim Hafez, the left-back for Pyramids FC, spoke about the competition in the current season of the Egyptian Premier League, confirming that the race will not be limited to just Pyramids, Al Ahly, and Zamalek.

Karim Hafez affirmed that Pyramids FC is not aiming solely to win the Premier League title, but rather to compete in all competitions the team participates in during the new season.

Karim Hafez's Statements

Karim Hafez, a player for Pyramids FC, began his statements, given via "On Sport FM" radio, by saying: "Egyptian football has changed, and the competition last season lasted until the final round."

He added: "All teams are aiming to compete for the title, and I believe the current season will be stronger given the clear desire of Pyramids, Al Ahly, and Zamalek to win the championship."

He continued: "We are not seeking to win the league only, but to win many trophies, and that is our goal before the start of the season. We have a coach with a big name in the African continent, and I hope we succeed together."

He went on: "Yuricic is a great coach who won five titles and was good on a human level. I thank him and wish the new coach success. I stay in touch with Yuricic and spoke with him regularly after the World Cup matches."

He added: "Yuricic's temper? That is Yuricic's personality, and everyone understands that. His outbursts push the players to focus more."

He concluded: "I hope Pyramids wins the league. There are teams I expect to compete, such as Ceramica Cleopatra and Zed. Al Ahly and Zamalek have a history and a large fan base, and any player wishes to play against them."

The Pyramids player finished: "Everyone tries to perform their best against Al Ahly and Zamalek, and the competition will be among many teams in the league, not just with Al Ahly and Zamalek."
