Kamal Sha'ib, the legal advisor to Al-Zamalek Club, revealed the scale of the financial obligations that fell on the club before the current council took over management, pointing out that the debt reached approximately 2.538 billion Egyptian pounds, in addition to other amounts.
He continued in a statement to the Al-Klasico program on ON E channel: "The current council has borne financial burdens dating back to previous periods, and the administration has paid approximately 7 million dollars of obligations that were not directly related to it."
He added: "The Al-Zamalek Club land crisis had a direct impact on the club's financial situation, and the repercussions of the crisis were clearly reflected in the financial aspects and due obligations. All those concerned with the football file are being referred for investigation at Al-Zamalek due to the 18 cases."

He said: "Al-Zamalek faced 18 cases in a single season, and the decision to refer the file for investigation included all individuals who were present or responsible for the football file during the relevant period, with the aim of determining the causes of these cases and establishing responsibilities."
He continued: "Al-Zamalek filed a report with the Public Prosecution against Ahmed Sayed Zizo due to the existence of debts related to the advertising file."
He clarified: "The administration also filed a formal complaint regarding the player's advertising and television appearances, and the club is proceeding with taking the necessary legal measures to protect its rights and handle the file in accordance with the applicable legal frameworks."
He pointed out: "The club is making great efforts to resolve the registration crisis and reach a solution that allows for the lifting of the suspension, and current indicators give Al-Zamalek a great deal of optimism."
He concluded: "We have great hope in lifting the disciplinary suspension, but the matter is not confirmed yet, so we do not want to promise the fans anything before it is officially decided."
