Juan Garcia, the first-team goalkeeper for Barcelona Football Club, spoke about his next goal after winning the 2026 World Cup with the Spanish national team.
The Spanish national team won the 2026 World Cup for the second time in its history after defeating Argentina with a goal to nil.
Juan Garcia said in statements to the Catalan newspaper "Sport": "I have been at Barcelona for a year, we won La Liga and the Super Cup, and this year I won the World Cup, so it is natural that my goal for next season is to win the UEFA Champions League".
He added: "The World Cup is the highest title at the national team level, and the Champions League is the same for clubs. I have set this goal for myself this season".

He added: "Our desire to win the Champions League should not turn into an obsession that puts pressure on us. We should not overthink this matter, because if we do not achieve our goal and win the title, the consequences will be severe and unfortunate. Nevertheless, we believe in ourselves and are confident that we can achieve our goal".
He continued: "The players of this team are young. I think we need to learn from what happened to us last season. We were not lucky, but this should help us gain experience".
He went on: "What will I do if we win the Champions League? I do not know if I would get a tattoo of Flick's face on my body. I do not think that would suit me. At some point during the World Cup, I jokingly said I would dye my hair, but I am hesitant".
Regarding the signing of Julian Alvarez, he clarified: "These are matters not within our remit. There are many situations we are unaware of, and it would be wrong to speak out of ignorance. Personally, I have great confidence in Deco’s work".
He continued: "We have a very strong team, and I am sure they will form the best possible squad. As for Ferran Torres, he is a great player who contributes a lot on and off the pitch. If it were up to me, he would definitely stay".
