Gawhar Nabil, Minister of Youth and Sports, directed the opening of an urgent and immediate investigation into the complaint of a football player who was excluded from Al-Ittihad Al-Sakandari Club because of his name.
The mother of one of the players submitted a complaint during the past period, in which she confirmed the exclusion of her son from the tests of Al-Ittihad Al-Sakandari Club because of his name.
The Minister of Youth and Sports decided to open an immediate and urgent investigation into the incident, directing his instructions to take all legal measures against those who caused it if proven true.
Gawhar Nabil ordered that the person responsible for the incident be suspended and deprived of practicing any sports activity in the future, if the claim of the mother of the player excluded from the club's tests is proven true.

"Gawhar Nabil, Minister of Youth and Sports, decided to open an immediate and urgent investigation to verify the validity of what was raised in various media outlets regarding the complaint of one of the parents about the exclusion of her son from the football tests at Al-Ittihad Al-Sakandari Club, because of his name, according to what was raised in the media."
"The player's mother claimed that the club rejected the player because of his name, while the Minister of Youth and Sports decided immediately and urgently to verify the matter."
"Gawhar Nabil also ordered that if the validity of the complaint is confirmed, the Ministry of Youth and Sports will immediately suspend the person responsible for this matter and refer him for immediate investigation to take legal and disciplinary measures against him in this regard and deprive him of practicing any sports activity in the future."
