Alaa Mehoub, former Al Ahly player and coach, spoke about the Egyptian national team's loss to South Africa in the friendly match held this Sunday evening.
The Egyptian national team faced South Africa in a friendly match, marking the end of the Pharaohs' camp during the current international break, with the Pharaohs losing by one goal to nil.
Mehoub said in comments on the "Al-Nazer" program broadcast on "Al-Nahar Channel": "The period after the World Cup and the many events... I believe Hossam Hassan's personal life has affected him a million percent, impacting his balance, thinking, and statements, and he now has problems with everyone."
He added: "It is natural for the Football Association to try to resolve the issue regarding Mohamed El-Shenawy and support him, as El-Shenawy is the goalkeeper of the Egyptian national team and captain of Al Ahly club."
He concluded: "My message to Hossam Hassan, you are only a technical director; it is not your concern to interfere in the work of the Football Association."
During the September international break, the Egyptian national team played two matches in the first and second rounds against Angola and South Sudan.

The Egyptian national team drew 0-0 with Angola in the first round match in Cairo, and won 5-0 against South Sudan in the second round match at Juba Stadium in South Sudan.
