Issam Abdelfattah: A section on analyzing arbitration cases is a private lesson, but with conditions.

Essam Abd El-Fatah, head of the Referees Committee, revealed the challenges facing the committee in the upcoming period for the 2026/2027 Egyptian Premier League season.

Essam Abd El-Fatah stated in remarks to the Football Association's Media Center: "We will do our utmost to develop the refereeing system, and we need patience as we have only been in charge for two weeks."

He added: "There will be analysis and explanation of refereeing incidents in Egyptian Premier League matches, and there are new amendments to the laws that everyone must be aware of, just as happened in the World Cup."

He continued: "The analysis of incidents will take place every two weeks, and if we can manage it weekly, we will do so, due to the congested schedule of matches in the Egyptian Premier League."

He further stated: "I view the segment on refereeing analysis in television studios as a private lesson for referees, but the analyst must be qualified for this role; I am not opposed to refereeing analysis."
