Andoni Iraola, the technical director of Liverpool Club, confirmed that there are many things that need to be corrected in the team.
Iraola led the Liverpool team in his first match as the team's coach against Sunderland in a friendly match that ended with the Reds winning (4-2).
Despite the victory over Sunderland, Iraola acknowledged that Liverpool needs a lot of correction, confirming that the Reds are still at the beginning of the road under his leadership.
Iraola's statements after the victory over Sunderland
Iraola said in statements after the friendly match: "I think the two halves were different, they were stronger in the first half, and we were somewhat balanced, both teams."
He added: "There are many things that need to be corrected, but it is a good start for improvement, we were happy that we went through all these trainings without injuries, then this happened."
Iraola concluded: "Both teams lacked some vitality, the weather was humid and the pitch was somewhat slow, we provided good periods but we lacked some enthusiasm, we have to make more effort, but it is a good start."
