Al-Hilal coach Simone Inzaghi decided to exclude his defender Ali Al-Bulaihi from the list that will depart to Austria to enter the preparatory camp, according to the Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadiyah.
With this step, Al-Bulaihi has become out of Al-Hilal's calculations in the new season despite one full season remaining in his contract, which ends next summer.
The camp begins on Wednesday and extends until August 3.
Al-Bulaihi - 36 years old - joined the group's training at the end of last week after undergoing standard physical and muscular tests, following his recovery from the flu he contracted days ago, which prevented him from joining his fellow players after returning from the seasonal vacation.
During 8 and a half seasons, Al-Bulaihi played 263 matches wearing the Al-Hilal jersey, scoring 23 goals and providing three assists, before being loaned to Al-Shabab last January.
Al-Bulaihi contributed to winning 5 league titles, 3 King's Cup titles, and 3 Saudi Super Cup titles, in addition to two AFC Champions League titles with Al-Hilal.
In addition, the Blue team's delegation departs to Austria on Wednesday to engage in the preparatory camp, with the team scheduled to play 4 friendly matches, starting against Sturm Graz on July 19, followed four days later by a match against South African Mamelodi Sundowns, then facing Algerian Mouloudia on July 29, and concluding the trials against Qatari Al-Ahli on the final day of the camp.
