Media personality Ahmed Shobier revealed the behind-the-scenes story of Iman Eshour, Al Ahly Club's midfielder, being excluded from the match against Smouha in the Egyptian League.
Al Ahly is scheduled to face Smouha at 8:00 PM today, Thursday, in the third round of the Egyptian Premier League at the Cairo International Stadium.

Al Ahly currently holds third place in the Egyptian League standings with 6 points, aiming for a third consecutive victory to secure a perfect score.
Shobier stated during his radio program on "On Sport": "Hussein Amouta informed Iman Eshour that he would be excluded from the team's first three matches due to his non-participation during the pre-season."
He continued: "Iman Eshour is absent from Al Ahly for tactical reasons, and it is not related to any injury. Amouta believes the player did not participate sufficiently during the pre-season and needs a longer period of training before joining matches."
He added: "Iman Eshour is 'killing himself' in training, but Hussein Amouta is determined in his decision to exclude the player from Al Ahly's first three league matches."
