The Athletic newspaper revealed its ranking of the best 10 matches in the 2026 World Cup tournament, up to the end of the round of 16 competitions in the Mundial.
The list of matches included the Egyptian national team in fifth place, following the exciting matchup it played against Argentina in the round of 16.
The Egypt vs. Argentina match ended with a victory for the Tango squad, three goals to two, after the Pharaohs had taken a clean two-goal lead.
