Trabzonspor Turkish club lost a friendly match against its counterpart Göztepe, two goals to one, in the match held this evening, in the retirement match of Ismail Koybashi, the former star of both teams.
Göztepe took the lead through Noah Sundberg in the added time of the first half, from a penalty kick.
Göztepe doubled their lead with a goal by Janderson in the 50th minute, while substitute Metehan Mimaroglu scored Trabzonspor's only goal in the 53rd minute of the match.
Metehan Mimar had come on as a substitute in the first half, following the injury of Noah Saviolu, the new arrival to Trabzonspor's ranks.
The match also witnessed the first participation of Albanian Ernest Muçi in the number 7 shirt, after relinquishing the number 10 following the signing of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah during the summer transfer window.
Egyptian star Mohamed Salah was absent from today's match, as the club preferred for him to continue his individual training to complete his rehabilitation program in preparation for the new season.
