The Egyptian Football Association announced the formation of the Egyptian Referees Committee for the new 2026/2027 season, which will be headed by Essam Abdel Fattah.
Earlier, FilGoal.com revealed the existence of a referees development committee headed by Jamal Al-Ghandour, vice president of the referees committee.

Mohamed El-Sabahi will be with Mahmoud Ashour, member of the main referees committee, to develop referees in video technology.
Mahmoud El-Banna, Mohamed El-Hanafi and Mohamed Youssef will work with the referees to develop them
Ayman Djish and Hani Abdel Fattah will work with the assistant referees
The entire work will be under the supervision of Jamal Al-Ghandour.
And it is scheduled that the draw for the new season of the Egyptian League will be held on Wednesday, August 5.
