Imminent deal.. Franck Kessié approaches joining Juventus

Press reports have revealed that the Ivorian star Franck Kessie aspires to return to the Italian league through Juventus club during the current summer transfer window.

The Ivorian international midfielder aspires to return to the Italian league where he played for AC Milan before moving to Spanish Barcelona and from there to Saudi Al Ahli Jeddah.

Saudi Al Ahli Club had officially announced in recent days the departure of Franck Kessie after a wonderful career during which he achieved many collective and individual accomplishments.

According to the Italian website "Calcio Mercato", the Ivorian international player considers the Bianconeri a main option to move to during the next stage of his football career.

Kessie is considered a free agent after Al Ahli Jeddah decided not to renew his contract which ended at the end of June 2026, making him available for free to clubs wishing to acquire his services during the next 2026/2027 season.

Kessie places Juventus club at the top of his priorities to return to the Italian league as a former Milan player, and Kessie spent most of his football career in the Italian league.

The Ivorian midfielder has full knowledge of the Italian league and the playing style of its clubs and will not face great difficulty in adapting upon his return in the coming period.

For his part, Juventus seeks to strengthen its midfield, and it is said that it will welcome the 29-year-old player's joining its ranks this summer.

And since the deal represents a free transfer, it carries additional attractiveness for the Italian club, which is keen on managing its financial expenses in accordance with the settlement agreement approved by the European Football Union "UEFA" during the current transfer period.

Kessie, the Ivory Coast national team midfielder, had moved to the ranks of Saudi Al Ahli in the summer of 2023, coming from Spanish Barcelona under a contract for 3 seasons.

The 29-year-old player achieved 3 official titles with the Saudi team, represented by the AFC Champions League "twice" and the Saudi Super Cup.
