Imam Ashour, the Al-Ahly club's midfielder, revealed the truth about receiving several recent offers to leave the Red team's ranks, before commenting on the international press's praise for him.
Imam Ashour drew attention during his appearance alongside the Egyptian national team in the 2026 World Cup finals, as the player succeeded in scoring two goals, joining a historical list topped by Mohamed Salah.
Imam Ashour opened his World Cup goals by scoring against Belgium from a long-range shot in a match that took place in the group stage, before heading the ball into Australia's net with a perfect header in the round of 32 of the World Cup.
Did Imam Ashour receive offers?
Imam Ashour answered, during his television appearance on "ON" channel, about the truth of receiving offers in the recent period, saying: "I respect Al-Ahly Club and I am at its disposal at any time".
He continued his speech: "Did offers come to you? I hear, and certainly if there is an offer, it will be referred to the club, and I am at the club's disposal at any time and whatever it decides, I will do".
He concluded his speech: "International press talk? I definitely get motivation for what is coming".
