Al-Ahly Club announced today, Sunday, its official signing of the Moroccan professional Sofiane Ben Jedidia, coming from the ranks of Maghreb Fez, champions of the Moroccan league last season.
The signing of Ben Jedidia (24 years old) came at the request of Moroccan coach Hussein Amouta, who recommended to the club's management the necessity of contracting with Maghreb Fez's top scorer to bolster the forward line for the new season.
The official Al-Ahly Club website stated that Ben Jedidia signed a three-year contract, becoming the third signing for the "Red Castle" during the current summer transfer window, after signing Enppi's duo Aktai Abdullah and Ali Mahmoud.
Ben Jedidia is not the first Moroccan professional in Al-Ahly's ranks, as he was preceded by several Moroccan players, foremost among them Walid Azaro, who joined the team in the summer of 2017.
Al-Ahly faces numerous challenges in the upcoming season, both in the Egyptian League and the Egypt Cup, in addition to participating in the African Confederation Cup.
