The new season of the Egyptian Premier League has kicked off amid great excitement regarding results, as all teams strive to achieve their objectives early on.
Despite the fierce competition among all teams and the difficulty in predicting the outcome of any match, there is a significant disparity in market values between the clubs.
Al Ahly Club tops the list of teams with the highest market value, boasting 37 players in its squad with a total market value of €36.7 million. (See images)
Al Ahly surpasses Pyramids FC, which holds second place on this list with 34 players valued at €25.9 million, while Zamalek occupies third place with a squad of 36 players valued at €15.8 million.
Ceramica Cleopatra ranks fourth in the Premier League's highest market value list, with its players valued at €12.3 million, exceeding Al Masry Port Said, which holds fifth place, by €1.1 million. They are followed by National Bank of Egypt SC, with a market value of €8.5 million.
As for the three teams recently promoted to the Premier League—El Qanah, Abu Qir Fertilizers, and Petrol Assiut—they occupy the bottom positions in the highest market value ranking, with values of €2.3 million, €1.4 million, and €625,000 respectively.
