Al Ahly signed Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet for a period of 5 years, starting from the summer of 2025 before the launch of the Club World Cup competitions, but the player only spent a single season within the ranks of the Reds.
During that season, Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet received from Al Ahly one million and two hundred thousand dollars as an annual salary, in addition to 30 million pounds from the player's commercial rights (advertisements), according to what "Yalla Koura" learned.
Thus, the total amount Mahmoud Trezeguet received from Al Ahly amounted to nearly 90 million and 876 thousand pounds, yet that was not enough for the player to continue, as he chose to leave after just one season.
How did Trezeguet leave Al Ahly?
Al Ahly Club officially announced the termination of the contract with Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet, following several friendly consultations and a "financial settlement" between the two parties over the past period, as the Reds described in their statement.
The term "termination of the contract" means that the agreement concluded between the two parties has become null and void, and the player has become free to move to his destination without returning to his former club in any agreements between them.
The club clarified that the agreement with Trezeguet was reached after rounds of friendly discussions and consultations, in addition to a financial settlement with the player, ending a journey that was expected to last a long time.
"Yalla Koura" learned that Mahmoud Trezeguet was awaiting another financial amount in exchange for some commercial rights, but the player preferred to waive it at the present time in order to facilitate his transfer to the Saudi league.
