Al-Bank Al-Ahly Club faces a strong and difficult match against Al-Zamalek in the second round of the 2026-2027 Egyptian Premier League season.
Under the management of Ayman El-Ramady, Al-Bank Al-Ahly opened the Premier League with a surprising 0-1 loss to Abu Qir Fertilizers, while Al-Zamalek drew 0-0 with Al-Ittihad Alexandria.
Al-Bank Al-Ahly strengthened its squad across various positions during the summer transfer window to perform better in the new season.
Among the most notable transfers made by Al-Bank Al-Ahly in the summer market was the signing of Brazilian winger Francisco Anderson from Romanian club Chikserida.
Al-Bank Al-Ahly also bolstered its ranks with midfielder Rashad El-Metwally, as well as a duo who previously wore the Al-Zamalek jersey: Karim Hamad and Hatem Sakr.
Al-Bank Al-Ahly competed in the relegation group last season and successfully secured its place in the league by finishing third with 48 points.
The Al-Bank team boasts a formidable attacking force and players with extensive experience in the league, including Mostafa Shalabi, Yao Anwar, Ahmed Yasser Rian, Osama Faisal, and Ahmed Amin Oufa.
Rian won the Egyptian Premier League Golden Boot award for the 2025-2026 season with 13 goals.
