International defender Hossam Abdel Majeed and former Zamalek player appeared for the first time wearing the shirt of his new club, the Bulgarian Ludogorets.

Hossam Abdel Majeed joined Ludogorets this summer, coming from Zamalek.

Abdel Majeed had arrived in Bulgaria the day before yesterday, in preparation for starting his journey with Ludogorets.
For the first time, the Bulgarian team will not participate in European competitions after exiting the qualifying round for the Europa Conference League.
Ludogorets opened the league campaign with three wins: 1-0 against Lokomotiv Plovdiv, 2-0 against Dunav Ruse, and 2-1 against Vratsa.
Ludogorets will play their next Bulgarian league match on Sunday, August 9.
Hossam Abdel Majeed played 171 matches for Zamalek, scoring 15 goals and providing one assist.
He won three Egyptian League titles, two Egypt Cups, one African Super Cup, and one CAF Confederation Cup with Zamalek.
Earlier, Hossam Abdel Majeed revealed why he preferred the Bulgarian club over offers from the Gulf, saying: "I chose Ludogorets over the Gulf offers because it was the best and most serious, even though the Gulf offers were financially stronger, because my goal is to join a more prestigious league and contribute to my country's success, honor Zamalek, the club of my childhood, and pave the way for young Zamalek players to become professionals in Europe."
Hossam Abdel Majeed bid farewell to Zamalek fans, directing a touching message of thanks after leaving the club, in which he affirmed his pride in the period he spent wearing the white jersey.
Hossam Abdel Majeed said via his official Instagram account: "Thank you to all Zamalek fans."
He continued: "From the first day I wore the Zamalek shirt, you were the real support in every moment and in every difficult time."
He added: "Today, as I begin a new step in my career, all I ask of you is your support and prayers, just as you have always been with me."
He went on: "I will always be proud to have been one of the sons of Zamalek Club, and your memories and support will remain with me wherever I am."
He concluded: "Thank you for all the love, and may God grant us all success in what is to come."
