Samer Salama, agent of Hossam Abd El-Magid, told FilGoal.com: "Al-Ahly has not contacted me yet regarding signing Hossam Abd El-Magid, as rumored."
He added, "The player is fully focused on competing with his club for the Bulgarian league title."

Since joining his team, Hossam has only participated for 6 minutes as a substitute against Slavia Sofia.
Hossam Abd El-Magid joined Zamalek's first team after being promoted from the youth sector in summer 2019, and his contract with Zamalek expires next summer.
